Robert Sinskey Vineyards’ wines are highly regarded, hand-crafted, small production that emphasize class and elegance. All fruit is from their owned vineyards that are CCOF organic and biodynamically farmed.
We are pouring tastes of the Vin Gris of Pinot Noir—an intentionally made rosé harvested in the coolest hours of the night to maintain fruit brightness. We were lucky enough to secure some of the micro production Muscat Blanc (just over 100 cases made) made from a single vineyard in Los Carneros, Sonoma. Then to the reds: Pinot Noir from the challenging yet rewarding 2011 vintage comes a red-fruited, earthy and honest Pinot Noir. Followed by the POV (acronym for point of view), already a staff favorite at BTG. This wine is based on Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The percentages change yearly based on what mother nature offers. We will be pouring the 2009 with bright fruit and alluring aromatics. Ending the night we will be pouring the Pinot Gris Late from the already lauded 2012 long growing season which set up the perfect conditions to produce a wine that hits the “sweet spot.” All wines will be paired with small plates inspired by Maria Helm Sinskey recipes.
